AMMARAH (“we”, “us”) operates an online store for customers in Bangladesh. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, how we store it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account data: full name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and optional phone number.
- Order and delivery data: shipping address, city, phone, order items, payment method, and notes you add at checkout.
- Guest checkout data: name, phone, address, and optional email when you order without an account.
- Usage data: pages viewed, cart and wishlist activity, device type, and approximate location derived from your connection.
- Support data: messages you send to customer support, including attachments.
- Reviews: ratings and review text you submit for products you purchased.
We do not ask you to send full card numbers to AMMARAH by email. Card or wallet payments, when enabled, are processed by the payment provider.

- Create and secure your account, including email verification and password reset.
- Process orders, deliveries, cancellations, returns, and refunds.
- Show your order history, addresses, wishlist, and notifications in your dashboard.
- Apply coupons and offers that you choose at checkout.
- Send transactional messages (order status, delivery updates, security alerts).
- Improve the Store, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations in Bangladesh.
Marketing emails or SMS are sent only if you opt in (for example via newsletter). You can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by contacting support.
4. Sharing
We share personal data only when needed:
- Delivery partners and couriers, to ship your order.
- Payment providers, to complete a payment you initiated.
- Hosting, email, and security vendors who process data on our instructions.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and similar technology
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember cart and guest session data, and keep the Store secure. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features (such as checkout) may not work.
6. Storage and security
We store data on secured systems and use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No online service is completely risk-free. Please use a strong unique password and do not share it.
We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, accounting, dispute handling, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them when they are no longer required.
7. Your choices
- Update your profile and addresses from My Account.
- Request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to close your account, subject to open orders or legal retention.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Children
The Store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or notified by email where appropriate.
